This is a Windows automation tool.
Macro ToolsWorks is a Windows automation tool that can help you automate most routine/repetitive tasks quickly and easily. You can create macros for any of the Windows applications. These macros could be launched by hotkeys or text shortcuts form custom toolbar. It is possible to trigger the same by a pre-defined mouse action too. Triggering of the macro is also possible to start at a predetermined time or when a specific event happens. Events could be like a file is created or deleted or the computer is completely idle or when the screen content has changed. Macros are recorded in the macro recorder. The recorder is capable of recording keystrokes as well as mouse events. These then can be manually edited and optimized. A macro can be as simple as a recorded sequence of keystrokes and mouse clicks or they can have complex repetitive daily tasks. Daily backups, other file manipulations, filling of web forms, e-mail writing, chatting, inserting data to database forms, files downloading/uploading, file and directory zipping and encryption and many other things.
A set of basic, often used macro functions are available. These include insert date/time, send keystrokes, mouse events, paste text, activate window, basic file/folder operations, open web page, wait, “if window”, run executable and so on. More than 150 additional commands are also available giving a wider set of pre-made tools. This is a nice, full of features, easy to use tool that will be useful if you were trying to automate daily chores.
